JAKARTA, MOTOREXPERTZ.COM - No less than seven premier class stars, plus Valentino Rossi, will battle it out for top honors in the annual event at the VR46 Motor Ranch.

No winter season is complete without Valentino Rossi inviting a lineup of two-wheeled greats to take part in La 100km dei Campioni.

The flat track event, now in its ninth year, will hold its main event on Saturday this weekend. A total of 20 teams and 40 riders will go head-to-head in endurance racing.

 

First, all 40 riders will sharpen their elbows ahead of Friday's Americana race, which takes place at the VR46 Motor Ranch oval circuit.

New Honda rider Luca Marini claimed the top spot in last year's race after edging out his VR46 Riders Academy teammates Franco Morbidelli and Celestino Vietti.

The Doctor then bounced back and reclaimed his title on Saturday.

However, the nine-time World Champion, paired with Marini, was beaten by former Grand Prix riders Elia Bartolini and Lorenzo Baldassarri.

 

This year's entry list includes 2022 and 2023 MotoGP™ World Champion Pecco Bagnaia; Marco Bezzecchi; Franco Morbidelli; Luca Marini; Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team biker Fabio Di Giannantonio; and GASGAS Factory Racing duo Pedro Acosta and Augusto Fernandez.
